"People Are Still Having Sex" is a song written and recorded by American musician La Tour. The song features a monologue expounding the narrator's observations that "people everywhere" are "still having sex;" no matter how authority figures such as parents and counselors try, and despite the risk posed by AIDS, "nothing seems to stop them." In the album edit of the song, the lyrics were originally written as "This AIDS thing's not working".It was released in April 1991 as the first single from his self-titled debut album La Tour (1991). It was changed to "This safe thing's not working" for radio airplay.
Back in 1997, Lish Daelnar, known as "CRANK" created an ASCII chart that listed all of the guys she dated in the "Internet Scene".The video was conceived by H-Gun, creator of early videos by Nine Inch Nails and Ministry.La Tour's live face is seen at the left of the screen during his speaking parts, while animation occupies the rest of the screen.I'm right there with you, re: inserting myself in the chart. That part is disappointing.) So there you have it, folks! And if Alaric was still alive, I would have put a line between him and Damon too. Perhaps it's a slight exaggeration to say that everyone has slept with everyone else, but it's pretty darn close. It also peaked at number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 15 in the United Kingdom. The song is built around an instrumental background and also includes a male voice speaking various lines.Personally, I think that the fact that the entire chart is still done in ASCII is its greatest feat.Have you ever noticed how many girls complain about guys being assholes, but still only seem to flirt with guys that clearly don’t care about them?An audio sample of a woman saying "Hello, lover" is taken from the 1987 horror film Evil Dead II.The song features animation and features various animated backgrounds, some of which relate to the song's topic.
