You can disable the option “Download changes since last Send/Receive” to make sure you get a complete fresh copy of the OAB but this could take longer to download.Hello all, I have an issue that I can't seem to figure out.A status window will open to indicate that the download is in progress and will close automatically when the download is complete.(This could take several minutes) Step 2: Uncheck the box next to Download changes since last Send/Receive.An issue has been highlighted where several users are not in the global address list, its just two users in particular, who were created about 2 weeks ago, and they dont appear. The clients are using outlook in cached exchange mode, and I read that a manual download of the offline address book can be achieved by going to send and receive, then download address book. I then found this Microsoft article: Which describes setting a registry value that dictates how the OAB should function. Therefore, there is no need for equivalent instructions for the Mac operating system.
Step 3: The new version of the GAL will now be downloaded.
For me, new colleagues are not showing up and the contact pictures aren’t displaying either.
They do for my colleague sitting next to me, so I don’t think it is a server misconfiguration or something like that.
The users/dist lists I have created or removed have had more than 24 hours to propagate so I am sure it is not that.
I was able to find out that not running in cached mode fixes the issue immediately but I would like to find a solution that allows me to use cached mode if I so desire? But yes you can switch from cached mode and it'll take care of it too. The Show In Address Book User is not found on our DC.
